Ellsworth Community College football alumni Corry O'Meally and Devante Averette were Panther teammates from 2012-2014 who graduated and transferred to continue their football careers at the next level. On Oct. 18 they reconnected as opponents in the Oklahoma State vs. Texas Christian game.

Averette, a native of Melvindale, MI, is a linebacker for #15 Oklahoma State University and O'Meally, from Miami, FL, is a cornerback for #12 Texas Christian University. Both players received All American honors while attending ECC.

TCU and O'Meally came out on top in this match-up, with the Horned Frogs winning against Oklahoma by a score of 42-9.
