The 2020 Wrestling season is not done just yet, but Ellsworth conference competitions have come to a close.  The Iowa Community College Athletic Association (ICCAC) has recognized ECC's Scott Cook, a 141 lbs. Sophomore from New London, WI, as wrestling's Athlete of the Week. 

Ellsworth finished up their ICCAC conference dual schedule last week by upsetting the No. 2 ranked NIACC Trojans in Mason City, 30-11. The Panthers, who won their last three ICCAC duals, were highlighted by 141-pound sophomore Scott Cook.

Cook took down Ellsworth's No. 2 ranked (at the 133-pound weight class) in a 10-7 decision. Overall, Cook went 3-2 on the week, reaching the 3rd Place match at the Loras College Open in Dubuque. He won matches over Garrett Moll of Northern Iowa and Jacob Ramirez of Cornell before falling in the Open Semifinals.
