Originally from Parkersburg, IA, Coach Spree is entering his first season as golf coach for ECC. Spree is also the head wrestling coach for ECC.

Coach Spree graduated from Aplington- Parkersburg High School, where he was a three-time state wrestling place winner. He then enrolled at Ellsworth Community College, where he became an All-American wrestler and graduated with his associate degree. After Ellsworth, he transferred to Northwestern College, where he again qualified for nationals two more times, and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Coach Spree has his master’s degree in Business Management from Minot State University.
