IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Ellsworth CC had 3 talented freshmen named to the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference All-Region teams announced by the conference office.  Panthers guard Marin Lind Agustsdottir was selected to the All-Region 2nd team and forwards Favour Nmecha Anyaele and Taylor Ross were 3rd team choices.

Lind Agustsdottir was ECC's leading scorer this season, the native of Iceland averaging 14.4 points a game.  She led the Panthers in field goal attempts (324), 3-point FG percentage (36.4), free throws made (74) and attempted (106), and steals (31).  She shot 70 percent from the free throw line and handed out nearly 4 assists per game.

Nmecha Anyaele was one of the top rebounders in the conference with her average of 10.6 boards per game.  She also scored 9.8 points a contest and the native of Nigeria topped ECC with 64 blocked shots.  She made 47 percent of her shots and over 64 percent of her free throw attempts.

Ross, from Silver Lake, Kansas, averaged 13.2 points a game, 13.7 in league games.  She shot 54.7 percent from the field and paced the Panthers in field goals with 150.  Ross connected on 75.6 percent of her foul shots and pulled down 8.9 rebounds a game.
