Ellsworth Community College women's basketball player Rebekah Hart has been named Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Player of the Week for Nov. 28 – Dec. 4.
Hart, a sophomore center from Elgin, MN, helped the Panthers to a 2-0 week with victories over MCC Penn Valley (54-52) and Little Priest Tribal College (75-69). She scored 24 points between the two games and was 10-21 shooting. She also pulled down 24 rebounds and three steals.
The Panthers are currently 8-5 for the season. They are done playing until after the holiday break, when they take the floor on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 5:30 pm to play Marshalltown Community College at home.
