The Ellsworth Community College women's basketball team took a 74-39 loss when they played Kirkwood at home on Jan. 21. 

The Panthers stayed close to Kirkwood for the first 18 minutes of the game, but the Eagles proved to tough and ended the first half 41-28, with a final score of 74-39. Kirkwood had a strong night with outside shooting, hitting 41 percent from three-point range.

Ellsworth was led by Keziah Lewis with 16 points and 4 rebounds; Ashley Gates also contributing 8 points and 4 rebounds.
