Ellsworth Community College Panther softball is proud to announce five players have received DII Iowa Community College Athletic Association Conference (ICCAC) All-Region honors. Bradi Yost (Parkersburg, IA) was named to the 1st Team All-Region. Four Panthers received DII Honorable Mention: Jenna Boardman (Genoa, WI), Brianna Schaefer (Denver, IA), Sydney Vrban (Waukee, IA), and Danielle Williams (Danville, IA).
Yost was awarded 1st Team All-Region Utility Player. She had a batting average of .368 with 9 homeruns and 24 RBIs. She also had a .923 fielding percentage for the season. She also pitched for the Panthers this season.
Boardman had a .394 batting average along with 6 homeruns. Schaefer had 6 homeruns this season and 27 RBIs. Vrban had a fielding percentage of .899 and 65 put outs. Williams had a .337 batting average and a .891 fielding percentage.
"I'm very proud of these girls and the way they have played this season," commented ECC Head Softball Coach Nate Forsyth. "They gave their all every game."
