The Ellsworth Community College 2018 Cheer team has signed Colorado Springs, CO native Caitelyn Nguyen.

Nguyen cheered for Pine Creek High School in Colorado Springs, CO and will be coming to ECC Fall 2018 to major in Equine. She has several years of cheerleading experience on the sidelines as well as competition floor.

""I am excited to have Caitelyn join ECC Cheer next season," commented ECC Head Cheer Coach Katie Reed. "She has versatile cheer skills including tumbling and stunting as both a base and a top. She will be one of our main top stunters next season for ECC Cheer."

When asked why she chose ECC Nguyen commented, "I hope to make friends in college that will last. I'd like to keep my tumbling skills improving, and I want to be a part of a team again. I have a bubbly personality and am always willing to try anything new. This is an opportunity for me to expand my skills, and I look forward to supporting my athletic teams and competing in college."
