Ellsworth Community College Panther Baseball is proud to announce four players have received DII Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) All-Region honors. Johnathan Fleek (Albert Lea, MN) and Travis Miller (Cumberland, WI) were named to the 2nd Team All-Region. Two Panthers received DII Honorable Mention: David Janes (Dubuque, IA) and Roberto Prado (Vega Baja, Puerto Rico).
Fleek had 33 RBI's, 5 home runs and a .335 batting average this season. Miller had 45 RBI's, 7 home runs and a .376 batting percent. Janes had 41 RBI's, 8 home runs and a .282 batting average. Prado had 27 RBI's, 7 home runs and a .259 batting average for the season.
"I couldn't be happier for these four student-athletes," commented ECC Head Baseball Coach Travis Akre. "Not only are these guys All-Region performers on the field, they are also All-Region in the classroom. It just shows that hard work pays off. Ellsworth baseball is very proud of these young men!"
