For the second week in a row an Ellsworth Community College baseball player has been named Player of the Week by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC). Sophomore right-handed pitcher Dustin Amos is Player of the Week for Feb. 29 – March 6.

Amos picked up his first victory of the season last week against #20 Connors State, with the Panthers handing Connors its first loss of the season. Amos pitched a complete game of seven innings while giving up one earned run and one hit; he struck out six batters. Amos has a 1-0 record and has pitched 17.2 innings this season, and he holds a 3.57 ERA while striking out 13 batters.
