IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- The Ellsworth Community College women's wrestling team was named an Academic Team of the Year by the NJCAA for its team grade point average of 3.16 for the 2022-23 academic year.  That was the highest GPA for any women's wrestling team in the nation and ECC was one of only two women's teams to qualify as an Academic Team of the Year.

Ellsworth Community College saw its baseball, men's basketball, softball, volleyball and women's wrestling teams all named Academic Teams of the Year and 37 ECC student-athletes made one of the NJCAA All-Academic Teams.
