IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Iowa Lakes CC won an ICCAC volleyball matchup with Ellsworth on Wednesday night at Dittmer Gym in 3 sets, winning 25-18, 25-11, 25-22.  

There were 5 early ties in set one and the Panthers were within a point at 18-17 before the Lakers put the set away.  The 3rd set featured 11 ties and 4 lead changes and ECC held a 16-11 lead before the Lakers rallied for the victory.

Faith Lobo led the Panthers at the net with 9 kills.  Nuria Bravo Santos had 22 assists and Louise Lion served 2 of her team's 4 aces.  Of ECC's 51 digs, Alondra Acevedo led with 15.  Dylann Stephenson was in on 3 blocks for the Panthers.

Ellsworth heads to Boone this weekend for 4 matches in a tourney hosted by DMACC.  They'll take on Metropolitan CC and Rochester CTC on Friday and Illinois Central and Southwestern CC Saturday.
