IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Playing at home for the first time in the 2021 fall season, the Ellsworth volleyball team dropped a three-set match to Iowa Central CC on Wednesday night. The visitors won 25-19, 25-18, 25-9.
The highlight for the Panthers were the 53 digs they had, tying a season high. Alyssa Morgan recorded 23 of the digs, the most for an ECC player since Kaitlyn Baer's 26 against Iowa Lakes in a match last spring.
Haley Forge led ECC at the net with six kills, one more than Gabi Damiano. Nuria Bravo Santos was credited with 13 assists and Yoliann DeJesus-Tejedor had four blocks.
The Panthers stay at home to host Marshalltown CC next Tuesday night.
