Coach Kaden Karns comes in as a recent 2023 Ellsworth Community College graduate. Kaden comes in with a multitude of coaching experience already. Kaden has coached at both the youth and high school levels. Kaden has also been a camp clinician all over the state of Iowa. During his time at Ellsworth Kaden was a 2x NJCAA National Qualifier as well as team captain.

Karns is a graduate of Waterloo West High School in Waterloo, Iowa. Kaden began wrestling at the age of four. Kaden during his time at Waterloo West was a 3x State Qualifier. Kaden placed 7th in 2020 at the Iowa State Tournament and also placed 6th in 2021. At Ellsworth Kaden earned an associate's degree in Business Administration. Kaden will assist with both the Men's and Women's programs. His duties will include running practices, recruiting, as well as all daily duties.

"Kaden will immediately impact the programs with his vast knowledge of wrestling. He will be a beneficial part in making sure our lighter weights are ready to go day in and day out. With Kaden being so accomplished in the state of Iowa and how active he is with coaching and with camps, he will play a big part in getting Iowa kids to Ellsworth," said Victor Coronado, Head Wrestling Coach.
