IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Nate Lendt, a returning All-American for the Ellsworth Panthers, has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week for his performances in a dual meet and an open tourney last week.

Lendt, wrestling at 149 pounds, won a 9-3 decision in an ECC dual meet win against Iowa Lakes and then won 5 of his 6 matches in the Grand View Open last Saturday.  Lendt got 3 of his 5 victories by fall, including a pin against the No. 7 rated wrestler in his weight class in the NJCAA rankings.  In addition to his pins, Lendt also won a 17-4 major decision and another decision by a 9-5 score.
