IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Ellsworth Community College women's basketball players Ingrid Martinez Guillen and Arleen Chanez earned spots on the NJCAA All-Academic Teams for their dedication in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year.  Martinez Guillen was named to the 2nd Team and Chanez is on the 3rd Team.  Players on the NJCAA 2nd team had GPAs of 3.8 to 3.99, and 3rd team members were those with GPAs between 3.6 and 3.79.

Ellsworth Community College saw its baseball, men's basketball, softball, volleyball and women's wrestling teams all named Academic Teams of the Year and 37 ECC student-athletes made one of the NJCAA All-Academic Teams.
