IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Iowa Western CC held the Panther women to a season-low point total in a 65-31 victory over Ellsworth at Dittmer Gymnasium Saturday afternoon. The Panthers had single-digit point totals in the first three quarters before putting up 15 points in the final period.
Leading the scoring for ECC were a pair of reserves, Jada Mullenix and Dreasha Talley. Each tallied eight points. Mullinex made two 3s and her eight points were a season-best. Talley added seven rebounds and four blocks. Halle Miller led Ellsworth with nine rebounds and Keara Williams had four steals.
For the Panthers they have only one game next week -- at NIACC on Wednesday. It will be the first meeting of the season between the longtime ICCAC rivals.
