IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Sixteen members of the Ellsworth softball team were named to the Fall 2023 Academic All-Region teams announced by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.  The academic honor lists are made up of the 1st team of student-athletes with grade point averages of 3.5 and above, and the 2nd team of individuals with GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49.  A student-athlete's highest GPA was recognized, either their cumulative GPA or their fall semester-only GPA. 

Members of the softball team who earned 1st team recognition include Angelica Agro, Elli Han, Grace Fuller, Haley Martinez, Kendra Rohner, Kierstyn Sutton, Lilea Prahm, Maddy Harding, Marleigh Sikes and Taryn Petty.  On the 2nd team are Allison Paulsen, Emma Gordon, Gracie Pierce, Kaitlyn Mick, Katelynn Hursh and Taryn Cory.

Han, Martinez, Sutton, Harding, Sikes, Gordon and Hursh were also named to the 2023 Spring Academic All-Region teams.

ECC had a total of 126 student-athletes from 8 different teams on the 2023 Fall Academic All-Region teams.
