IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Eleven players from the Ellsworth Community College softball team were named to the Academic All-Region teams for Spring 2022 by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.  Six of the players earned first-team honors with a grade point average between 3.5 and 4.0; five squad members had a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49 and were second-team selections.  

The Panther softball players on the Spring Academic All-Region teams were:

First Team -- Asa Kesinger, Breanna Howard, Cheyanne Collins, Delaney Vetter, Gintare Paskocimaite and Maggie Braniff.

Second Team -- Grace Gordon, Jocelyn Hartley, Lauren Abram, Lauren Brennan and Meghan Danielson.

There were a total of 103 Ellsworth CC student-athletes in seven sports who made the Academic All-Region teams for the Spring of 2022.
