Ellsworth Community College sophomore Gintare Paskocimaite from Radviliskis, Lithuania has been named Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week for the week of March 14-20.  

Paskocimaite was incredible at the plate last week going 14-19 for an average of .736.  She had four doubles, four triples, and capped it all off with a pair of home runs. She is now fourth in the NJCAA in triples (5) and third in slugging percentage (1.220). Her hot-streak last week resulted in 20 RBI along with 15 runs scored. Paskocimaite reached base 22 times over the six-game stretch. On the season, she is hitting .561 over 12 games.
