IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Thirteen members of the Ellsworth CC softball squad were named to the Academic All-Region teams for the Fall of 2021.  Eight of the softball players earned first-team honors with grade point averages of 3.5 or higher; five had a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49 and were second-team performers.  A student-athlete's highest GPA was recognized, either their cumulative GPA or their fall semester-only GPA.

The Panther softball players on the Academic All-Region teams are:

First Team -- Asa Kesinger, Bre Howard, Delaney Vetter, Emily Kellen, Gintare Paskocimaite, Lauren Brennan, Maggie Braniff and Meghan Danielson

Second Team -- Abby Harding, Cheyanne Collins, Jocelyn Hartley, Lauren Abram and Nicole Coppess

In all, 107 ECC student-athletes in seven sports made the Academic All-Region teams for the Fall of 2021.
