The Ellsworth Men's Basketball team is excited to release its schedule for the 2022-2023 season. "This summer/fall we have been very fortunate to travel throughout the United States and play in multiple jamborees and summer camps. We will have played 18 preseason games already this season against teams from Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Texas, Colorado, and New Mexico. We have fared well giving our in-experienced team a lot of time to accelerate their growth as a group and learn how to play our new system and style." said new head coach, Bryan Bender.
The program is ranked #17 in the country in the NJCAA Pre-Seasons NJCAA rankings and will play a full slate of games this winter. They open up their season on November 1st where they will play William Penn JV as the Bender era begins for the Panthers.
The schedule is highlighted with the Dale Howard Classic on November 11th and 12th, a trip to Indian Hills where they will take two NJCAA DI programs in MSU-West Plains and McCook, and will start ICCAC play on the road against Iowa Western on December 3rd.
