ECC Men’s Basketball adds Noah Gosse as an Assistant Coach

Gosse arrives at Ellsworth after spending the 2021-22 season in South Dakota with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, a G League affiliate of the Miami Heat. Gosse was hired as the team's equipment manager and helped out in various other roles. Day-to-day duties included locker room and court preparation, laundry, and opponent scouting preparation. Gosse also traveled with the team and live-coded every game with Hudl Sportscode.

"I am extremely blessed to be joining the Ellsworth Basketball staff and to continue to grow and learn under Coach Bender.  I cannot wait to bring my knowledge of the game at the professional level to help this talented group excel and reach their potential," said Gosse.

Gosse returned to his hometown of Green Bay, WI in April of 2020. He spent the summer of 2020 coaching AAU basketball for Team 1848 Worksome More. Gosse led his 17U team to a 21-10 record in a condensed season. Throughout the school year of 2020-21, Gosse continued to train a few of his team's players that committed to playing DIII collegiate basketball. Gosse then spent the summer of 2021 as an assistant coach for Team 1848's 17U national team. Tournament destinations included Louisville, Kansas City, Minnesota, and Las Vegas. The team went 29-12 on the season and had two players sign to play collegiate basketball at the NCAA Division II level.

In the fall of 2019, Gosse began his career as a basketball operation intern with the Greensboro (NC) Swarm, a G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets. Gosse's responsibilities included assisting with scouting, player transportation, and laundry. In-game duties included note-taking for coaches or live coding using Catapult Sports Vision.

In 2019, Gosse graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management. He was a member of the men's basketball team, which went 67-40 in his four years. In 2018-19, the Falcons went 16-4 in the conference, which secured a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference championship. Gosse was also voted teammate of the year his senior season.

"I am excited to welcome Noah and his fiancé, Arianna into our basketball family.  He comes highly recommended and fits our core values of passion, humility & discipline.  He is an extremely hard worker, loves the game, and is in the coaching industry for the right reasons.  He brings a level of professionalism having spent the last two seasons in the NBA G-League and he will make an instant impact on and off the floor for our staff and players," said Bryan Bender, Head Coach of the Ellsworth Men's Basketball team.

Gosse has a fiancé, Arianna, and a dog, Nero.
