Panther Men Stumble at NCMC

TRENTON, MISSOURI -- North Central Missouri avenged an early-November loss in Iowa Falls by taking care of the Ellsworth Panthers, 93-64, on Saturday.  When ECC knocked off NCMC in the earlier meeting the Pirates were ranked 7th in the nation.  This time around, the hosts poured in 51 second-half points and routed the Panthers to move their season record above .500.  Ellsworth falls to 13-11.

North Central Missouri shot 53 percent for the game and the Panthers only grabbed 26 rebounds, just 5 on the offensive glass.  Their two leading scorers came off the bench -- Ra'mir Scott with 14 points and Andres Arellano 12.  Junior Bodden and Rich Ashu chipped in 8 points each.  Ashu led ECC on the boards with 7 and also blocked 3 shots.

Ellsworth looks to get back on track when they host Southwestern CC on Wednesday night at Dittmer Gym.  The Panthers already own a 72-54 win over SWCC.
