IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Richie Warren showed his all-around abilities in Ellsworth CC's three victories last week and as a result was chosen the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Division II Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

Warren, a freshman from Racine, Wisconsin, scored 33 points in the three contests, but filled up the stat sheet in other areas.  He actually had more rebounds than points, collecting 37 boards, including a whopping 22 in a win against the William Penn JV.  Warren also handed out 14 assists and blocked five shots in helping the Panthers improve their season record to 5-and-1.

For the season, Warren is averaging a team-high 14.7 points and 11.0 rebounds a game and is shooting 54.5 percent from the field, in addition to averaging 2.7 assists per contest.
