IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Three players from the Ellsworth Community College football program were named to the NJCAA All-Academic Teams for their work in the classroom in the 2022-23 academic year.  Sophomore Karim Al Soufi and freshman Isaac Whisenand were named to the All-Academic 2nd Team with grade point averages between 3.8 and 3.99.  Freshman Cade Walkingstick made the 3rd Team with his GPA between 3.6 and 3.79.  

Ellsworth Community College saw its baseball, men's basketball, softball, volleyball and women's wrestling teams all named Academic Teams of the Year and a total of 37 ECC student-athletes made one of the NJCAA All-Academic Teams.
