Ellsworth put together their best defensive performance of the season last week, holding Dodge City to 21 points. It was the first time this season the Panthers have held a team under 31 points. Leading the Panther defense was outside linebacker Michael Acri. Acri finished with seven tackles on the day, which included a sack and 1.5 tackles for a loss. Acri leads the Panthers in tackles this season with 38. Acri has two sacks, 5.5 tackles for a loss, and a forced fumble.
