IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Thirty players from the Ellsworth Community College football team were named to the Academic All-Region teams for Spring 2022 by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.  Seventeen of the players earned first-team honors with a grade point average between 3.5 and 4.0; thirteen squad members had a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49 and were second-team selections.  

The Panther football players on the Spring Academic All-Region teams were:

First Team -- Aaron Okello, Aghogho Eyafe, Caleb Hoyt, Chase McKinney, Colton Willis, Fischer Ohrt, Josh Bauer, Kaden Bricker, Kariem Soufi, Kayden Ames, Lucas Mitchell, Malcolm Gillie, Marvin Woods, Max Freund, Michael Wallin, Miracle Alabi and Sam Freund.

Second Team -- Amartae Rice, Andrew Walters, Benjamin Acri, Detreyvion Malone, Dmarco Gazaway, Erastus Antsino, Jaden Davis, Jaylon Brown, Jeffrey Wilson, Jeremiah Gill, Leonardo Araujo, Michael Moore and Tavian Hobson.

There were a total of 103 Ellsworth CC student-athletes in seven sports who made the Academic All-Region teams for the Spring of 2022.
