IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Thirty-two members of the Ellsworth CC football squad were named to the Academic All-Region teams for the Fall of 2021.  Twelve of the football players earned first-team honors with grade point averages of 3.5 or higher; twenty had a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49 and were second-team performers.  A student-athlete's highest GPA was recognized, either their cumulative GPA or their fall semester-only GPA.

The Panther football players on the Academic All-Region teams were:

First Team -- Ben Acri, Cade Flaugh, Colton Willis, Erastus Antsino, Isaiah Rabquer-Morris, Kaden Bricker, Liam Stone, Lucas Mitchell, Max Freund, Noble Appiah, Tate Lahr and Will Darden

Second Team -- Aghogho Eyafe, Blayden Louis, Chase McKinney, D'Marco Gazaway, Deablo McGee, Devin Dukes, Ethan Seibold, Jake Vaughn, Jaylon Brown, JD Bastarrachea, Josaphat Tamatekou, Josh Bauer, Malcolm Gillie, Marice Whitlock, Michael Moore, Paapa Yeboah, Sam Freund, Tavian Hobson, TJ Bailey and Trenton Taylor.

In all, 107 Ellsworth CC student-athletes in seven sports made the Academic All-Region teams for the Fall of 2021.
