Darrius Jackson Snags Conference Football Honor

IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Ellsworth CC wide receiver Darrius Jackson ended his freshman season with three touchdown catches against the College of DuPage and he was named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week for his production.  Jackson hauled in five passes for 78 yards in the season finale and three of those resulted in TDs.  He also snared a pair of 2-point conversion tosses from QB Josh Bauer.

Jackson wound up with seven touchdowns for the season, all of them coming in ECC's final four games, and he caught 16 passes for 181 yards.

He was the first wide receiver to be given the Player of the Week honor in 2021.
