IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Thirty-three members of the Ellsworth baseball team were named to the Fall 2023 Academic All-Region teams announced by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.  The academic honor lists are made up of the 1st team of student-athletes with grade point averages of 3.5 and above, and the 2nd team of individuals with GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49.  A student-athlete's highest GPA was recognized, either their cumulative GPA or their fall semester-only GPA. 

Members of the baseball team who earned 1st team recognition include Aidan Cox, Alex Stewart, Brandon Weigel, Bryce Hoskinson, Carson Agan, Carter Arends, Connor MacAlpine, Dariel Colon, Evan Miller, Gabriel Monosmith, George Hansen, Jake English, Jean Melean, Josh Morales, Justin Roitman, Levi Beeler, Lukas Pollman, Max Watson, Owen Norris, Riley Schrader and Sam Patton.  On the 2nd team are Aidan Nigh, Boston Doeschot, Brock Adamson, Casey Clair, Dominic Wade, Jaden Morris, Jaxson Cornett, Jose Roche, Karter Beving, Luke Greth, Luke Saxton and Tanner Short.

Arends, Colon, Miller, Monosmith, Hansen, English, Melean, Morris and Short were also named to the 2023 Spring Academic All-Region teams.

ECC had a total of 126 student-athletes from 8 different teams on the 2023 Fall Academic All-Region teams.
