FORT DODGE, IOWA -- NIACC built an insurmountable early lead and coasted to a 14-4 victory over Ellsworth in the ICCAC opener for both teams on Wednesday.

The Trojans put 5 runs on the board in the 1st inning, added 4 more in the 4th and led 11-0 before the Panthers tallied 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th, 3 of the runs courtesy of a Daviel Camacho home run.  Sergio Natera had a pair of doubles and Tressin Kussmaul-Heisz a double and a single for ECC.  Jose Valentin, Nick Chasey, Jean Melean and Jose Roche each had a hit.

Ellsworth used 6 pitchers.  Starter Jake English went the first 3 1/3 innings and was followed to the hill by Kaden Stewart, Logan Fragomeni, Memphis Moore, Carter Arends and Dane Littell.  Moore was the only one who didn't allow a run.

The Panthers will play a 3-game series at home against Southwestern CC this weekend with a doubleheader Saturday and a single game on Sunday.
