IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Twenty-eight players from the Ellsworth Community College baseball team were named to the Academic All-Region teams for Spring 2022 by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.  Eighteen of the players earned first-team honors with a grade point average between 3.5 and 4.0; ten squad members had a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49 and were second-team selections.  

The Panther baseball players on the Spring Academic All-Region teams were:

First Team -- Bryce Hall, Charles Jaeger, Connor Cox, Dariel Colon De Jesus, Derihan Suero, Diego Dizney, Gavin Busby, JT Kostenbauer, Jalen Aguiniga, Jason Moist, Javier Melendez, Jose Valentine, Kaden Stewart, Kristian Crespo, Logan Smith, Rafael Severino, Sergio Natera and Simon Victoriano.

Second Team -- Alexis Ruiz, Daviel Camacho, Edgar Andujar, Ethan Whitham, Fabian Dumey, Jonathan Rosado, Luis Ramirez, Memphis Moore, Nick Chasey and Tate Walker.

There were a total of 103 Ellsworth CC student-athletes in seven sports who made the Academic All-Region teams for the Spring of 2022.
