Panther Wrestler, Cardionte Wilson, named NJCAA All American

Cardeionte Wilson of Ellsworth Wrestling finished as an NJCAA All-American this season in the 149-pound weight class, one year after winning the NJCAA 149-pound Championship in 2019. Despite a coaching change in between his freshman and sophomore seasons, he went into the 2020 National Tournament as the No. 1 ranked wrestler in the weight class. Prior to National's, he was the District runner-up in the 149-weight class.

Wilson, a resident assistant in the dorms, he also volunteered at MLK Day activities at Alden Elementary as well as the Annual Ellsworth Community College Holiday Dinner. He was known to be an active member of the student body, supporting campus events and activities while engaging many of the students on campus.

Wilson also took care of business in the classroom, earning Second Team Academic All-Region status this year.
