DMACC Takes Down Ellsworth Men

Boone, Iowa -- DMACC opened up a six-point halftime lead and doubled that advantage by the end of the game in knocking off Ellsworth, 74-62, Saturday afternoon.

VJ Wilmington's 14 points led ECC.  Adam Jackson and Tony Alexander came off the bench to chip in 10 points apiece.  Jackson also had four assists.  The Panthers shot only eight free throws -- none of them by any of the starting five -- to 27 attempts for DMACC.

Still looking for their first win of the season, Ellsworth (0-6) hosts another ranked team, Iowa Lakes, on Wednesday night before battling Southwestern on the road Saturday.
