Panthers Blitzed by Indian Hills

Ottumwa, Iowa -- Indian Hills opened up a 53-31 halftime lead and rolled over the visiting Ellsworth Panthers, 100-61, on Saturday afternoon.  Ellsworth dropped its second consecutive road game to begin the season and Indian Hills notched its first win after a season-opening defeat at Southwestern CC.

Adam Jackson paced the ECC scoring with 20 points, following a 32-point performance in the game at Northeast CC earlier in the week.  Pietro Vannini nailed four 3-pointers and scored 16 for the Panthers.  Tony Alexander had seven points off the bench.  Josh Kamara led the team with four assists.  Just as in the Northeast contest, Ellsworth hurt itself with 23 turnovers.

After the back-to-back road games to get the abbreviated season underway, ECC will play at home for the first time on Wednesday night when the Panthers play host to Iowa Central at the Dittmer Gymnasium at 7:00.
