Fort Dodge, Iowa -- Playing their second straight road match to begin the 2021 season, Ellsworth lost in straight sets to a ranked Iowa Central CC team on Tuesday night.  The home-standing Tritons, the two-time defending conference champs, won 25-12, 25-13, 25-22.

The statistical leaders for the Panthers were Gabi Damiano with seven kills, Vitoria Kazanovski with eight assists and Haley Forge with three digs.

ECC plays its home opener against another rated team, Kirkwood CC, on Thursday night.
