Ellsworth Community College's Nicole Nielsen has received Iowa Community College Athletic Association (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week Honors.
The sophomore outside hitter from Waterloo, IA, had double-doubles in the two matches this past week for the Panthers. She had a .228 hitting percentage and averaged 4.65 digs per set over five matches. Nielsen is ranked 3rd in the nation in total attempts, accumulating 1,178 so far this season. She is also ranked in the top 50 in the nation for digs with a total of 404.
