In the first meeting of Ellsworth Community College against NIACC the Panthers fell 3-1. Last nights match was a completely different story. The Panthers came in ready to play and swept NIACC in 3 sets.

The first set ECC won with no problem in a 25-15 win. The second two games were much closer but the Panthers fought off NIACC coming out on top with both sets ending 26-24.

Ashley Kraber led the team in assists with 13. Myriana Martinez led in digs with 17 and also contributed 7 kills. Meredith Lincoln had 8 kills to lead the team. Nicole Nielsen had 6 kills and 11 digs in the win.

The Panthers will be on the road until Monday, Oct. 9. They will travel to DMACC on Wednesday, Oct. 4 for their next game starting at 6:30 pm.
