ECC volleyball signs Tiffany Jacobson

Tiffany Jacobson, a 5'10 middle hitter from Jewell, IA, has signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Ellsworth Community College.

Jacobson will graduate from South Hamilton High School next spring. Part of the Heart of Iowa Conference, Jacobson is a two-time All-Conference Honorable Mention and Academic All-Conference winner for the 2013 and 2014 seasons. She has played four years of varsity for the Hawks, and a senior year captain this past fall. Jacobson recorded 107 kills her senior year and led the Hawks in blocking with 105 in the 2014 season averaging 1.35 per set.

"Tiffany has a ton of raw talent that is waiting to be unleashed," Panthers Head Coach Melanie Lane stated. "She's very athletic, hardworking and could ideally be trained to hit at any position in the front row next season."

Tiffany is daughter to Kevin and Susan. She has two sisters, Chelsie and Stephanie. She plans on majoring in Elementary Education.
