Allison Kuennen, a 5'11" middle hitter from Lawler, IA, has signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Ellsworth Community College.
Kuennen will graduate from Turkey Valley High School in Jackson Junction in May. Part of the Upper Iowa Conference, Kuennen is a two-time 1st Team All-Conference winner. She has played three years of varsity volleyball for the Trojans, and was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Cresco High School Tournament this year. Kuennen recorded 148 kills her senior year, with a hitting efficiency of .263.
"Allison is a talented athlete with a sound swing and blocking form," Panthers Head Coach Melanie Lane stated. "I'm looking forward to training her to be a versatile hitter for us next season."
Allison is daughter of Gary and Janel and is sister to Kayla and Brady. She plans on majoring in business.
