  • ECC Wrestling ends season with team records at NJCAA National Tournament

    Ellsworth wrestlers finished the 2015-2016 season with a bang! Coach Spree and his 10 National Qualifiers capped off their season at the NJCAA National Wrestling Tournament with a 3rd place team finish and the naming of 7 All-Americans.
  • Former Panther Wrestler Joshua DaSilveira wins Pac 12 title

    Former Ellsworth Community College wrestler Joshua DaSilveira has won the 197 lb. Pac 12 title for the Arizona State Sun Devils!
  • Panthers qualify 10 to Nationals and finish as District runner-up

    The Ellsworth Panthers were back on the mat again this past weekend, but this time the stakes were much higher. Each of the 10 Panthers were competing for positions at the 2016 NJCAA National Tournament on February 26th and 27th in Council Bluffs, IA.
  • Panthers place 2nd in National Duals Finals

    The Ellsworth Community College wrestling team had a successful trip to the National Dual Tournament in Ft. Wayne, IN, this past weekend. On Jan. 8-9, the Panthers wrestled all the way to the Semi-Finals, where they had an eventual loss to Clackamas Community College by criteria.
  • ECC Wrestling wins first two at Duals

    The Ellsworth Community College wrestling team won its first two matches today, Friday, Jan. 8, competing in the NWCA Multi-Divisional National Duals in Ft. Wayne, IN.
  • Pryor and Walker share title to lead the way for Panthers

    The Panthers took to the mat for the first time since Thanksgiving break on Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Buena Vista Open in Storm Lake. Although not many Panthers participated, the team still experienced success.
  • Sophomores lead the way for Panthers

    This past weekend the Panthers took to the mats at the Lindenwood Open in St. Charles, MO. The squad consisted of 13 wrestlers, and six of them reached the podium. Sadarriss Patterson and Dalonte Holland both won their first individual open championships of the year.
  • Panthers place two at Iowa State Open
    November 18, 2015
    The Ellsworth Community College Panthers took to the mat again at the highly competitive Iowa State Open in Ames on Sunday, Nov. 15. The tournament included teams from Iowa State University, University of Nebraska, University of Minnesota, South Dakota State, Boise State, St. Cloud State, Grand View College, Iowa Central, and many more. Most of the brackets featured top athletes from every division in collegiate wrestling.
  • Alexander and Gundrum lead the way at Kaye Young Open

    The Ellsworth Community College wrestling team traveled to Mason City, IA to kick off their season at the Kaye Young Open this past weekend. The Panthers had fourteen individuals competing both attached and unattached with eight of them placing in the event. Both Bobby Alexander and Jordan Gundrum lead the way for Ellsworth bringing home individual tournament titles.
