The #8 Ellsworth Community College wrestling team hosted #4 NIACC on Tuesday, Jan. 20, winning the dual match by a score of 25-10.

The ECC Panthers won 7 of their 10 matches for the night. Winning by decision were DeShun Brown (125) 13-9; Saidyokub Kakhramanov (141) 7-1; Kevin Cooper (149) 6-4; and Matthew Rodriquez-Kirkland (165) 9-3.

Winning by major decision were Devan Richter (174) 9-3 and Sadarriss Patterson (174) 11-2. Matt Hurford (184) won his match by technical fall, 22-6.

The Panthers will be on the road for their next match on Saturday, Jan. 24, beginning at 10 am in Mason City for the Regional Duals.
