Molly Greenfield was selected to lead the Ellsworth Community College women's basketball program in August 2018 and is currently in her 4th season as head coach.  Greenfield is an ECC alumnus and still holds records at her former school, having played for the Panthers in the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons.  She earned NJCAA Academic 1st Team All-Region honors as a freshman.  During her sophomore season Greenfield was 13th in the nation in made three-pointers and tied the ECC school record for 3-pointers in a single season when she drilled 82 3s. The current ECC head coach shot 32 percent from beyond the arc that year and was second on the team in scoring averaging 9.5 points per game. 

After graduating from ECC, Greenfield transferred to Waldorf University for one season (2015-16) and then moved to Crown College in Minnesota for one season (2016-17). She graduated with her bachelor's degree in Sports Management with a minor in Psychology. 

Greenfield grew up not far from the ECC campus in Williams, Iowa, and graduated from Northeast Hamilton High School.  She received All-Iowa Star Conference North Division first team recognition her senior year of high school and ranked third in the conference in scoring with 13 points per game and also averaged 6 rebounds per contest.

She also coached the Iowa Ambush AAU girls basketball team in 2016.
