IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Iowa Western sprinted away to a 29-6 lead after one quarter, increased the margin to 58-15 by halftime and the nationally-ranked Reivers finished off the Ellsworth women, 93-34, in basketball action at Dittmer Gym Wednesday night.

Ellsworth did not have a double-figure scorer, Aaliyah Chambers topping the Panthers with 8 points.  Teresa Paulsen led the rebounders with 8 and also blocked 9 shots which is a school single-game record.  Autumn Shull had a good stat line with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks.  ECC connected on only one of its 15 3-point attempts, Shamika Maria hitting the lone three.

The Panthers play their first conference road contest Friday night, at Southwestern CC.  Their next home game is Dec. 8 against Northeast (Neb.).
