Alivia Zubrod and Jordyn Lehman sign with Mount Mercy

Ellsworth Community College Panther women's basketball is proud to announce the signing of Alivia Zubrod and Jordyn Lehman with Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, IA. 

Zubrod, a sophomore from New Hartford, IA was a 81.3% free throw shooter for the Panthers. She also averaged 3.4 rebounds per game and 5.1 points per game.

"I would really like to thank ECC and Coach Geitz for giving me the opportunity to play basketball at the college level," Zubrod commented. "I have had a great two years here and met a lot of good friends."

Lehman, a sophomore from Iowa City, IA was a big asset on the boards for the Panthers this year. She had 124 total rebounds this season, averaging 4.1 per game. She also averaged 6.6 points per game and was 66.1% from the free throw line.

"I am really looking forward to Mount Mercy," commented Lehman. "I like the way the coach runs the team and stresses teamwork. That's really important to me."

Both girls said the fact that Mount Mercy was close to their hometowns played a part in their decision.
