The Ellsworth Community College women's basketball team traveled to Boone on Jan. 31 to take on Des Moines Area Community College. The first half was a close battle, and DMACC went into the break with a 27-22 lead. In the end DMACC pulled away with a 61-46 victory.
The Panthers were led by Keziah Lewis with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 3 blocks, and Molly Greenfield, who had 12 points on 4 three-pointers and 6 rebounds.
ECC will be at home for the next game, hosting William Penn University JV on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 5:30 pm.
