The Ellsworth Community College women's basketball team has been recognized by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) for its academic accomplishments during the 2013-2014 year.

For its status as a 2013-14 NJCAA All-Academic Team, the Panthers were required to maintain a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or better for the year.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 annually recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III; NAIA; and junior/community college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPA inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. In the junior college/community college division, Ellsworth Community College (coached by Ed Geitz) ranked 5^th in the nation.

The 2013-14 season is the 19^th in which the WBCA has compiled its honor rolls.
