The small but mighty Ellsworth Community College Sports Shooting team traveled to Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa on Saturday, Sept. 29 and brought home some great results.

The three person squad took first and second place on the women's side of the competition. Taylor Scott finished first with a 92 and following close behind, was Brie Pratt with an 86.

The one man men's team also took first place with Rex Nealy having a score of 97 and beating out Indian Hill's shooter by just one point.

Because of the only three person squad, Indian Hills outscored ECC 469 to 275. The Panthers next competition will be on Saturday, Sept. 6 when they travel to compete against Southwestern Community College.
