Coach Kristi Larson is in her first year as Head Softball coach at Ellsworth Community College.  She was an assistant for the Panthers for one season before transitioning into Head Coach. Her previous coaching experience includes being a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Minnesota Crookston, an assistant coach at Graettinger Terril Ruthven Ayrshire (GTRA) high school for the past two years, and a head middle school coach at GTRA.

Larson’s collegiate playing career began at Iowa Lakes Community College, where she received Honorable Mention All-Region her freshman season and 2^nd Team All-Region her sophomore year. She then transferred to the University of Minnesota Crookston to continue both her academic and playing careers. During her time as a Golden Eagle, Larson was awarded the NSIC Myles Brand Academic with Distinction Honors. Larson graduated with her degree in Sports and Recreational Management, with a coaching minor.
